  • EL CAPITAN HIGH SCHOOL CAASPP TESTING SCHEDULE 2017

    CALIFORNIA STATE STANDARDS TESTING

In May, the Grossmont Union High School District will be participating in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). In order to accommodate the two-hour tests, El Capitan will be following a modified testing schedule on four days. Please see schedule below.

Students in grade 11 will take the statewide Smarter Balanced test. These online tests measure students’ progress in English language arts/literacy and mathematics. The test is designed to measure critical thinking with questions that ask students to demonstrate their research, writing, and problem solving skills. All juniors will test on May 10, 11, 17 and 18 from 7:10 - 9:10 in assigned classrooms.
