The Library Hours Are:
Monday*
8:15 am - 2:45 pm
(students who arrive early to school may go to room 403 until the library opens)
Tuesday
6:45 am - 2:20 pm
Wednesday*
6:45 am - 2:45 pm
Thursday
6:45 am - 2:20 pm
Friday
6:45 am - 2:20 pm
and at lunch every day
*The library is open after school.
Please note: Hours may vary.
Students without a 7th period may come to the library for quiet study, but their schedule will be verified by the Librarian.
Students may check out 1 fiction book and 4 non-fiction books at a time*, but they must have their ID card. Until ID cards are distributed, students may use their printed schedules from the office.
*For non-fiction books, only 2 per subject are allowed to be checked out at one time.

When you are in the library, please work quietly and respect the rules:
- NO food
- NO drinks (even water)
- NO gum
- NO electronics
- NO cell phones
- NO headphones

- Students must present their own current student ID card to check out materials. (The finance office will make replacement IDs for $5)
- Items may be checked out for up to three weeks.
- Overdue fines are assessed at the rate of 10 cents per item per school day late.
- Need an item for longer? Avoid paying overdue fines by renewing the item before it is due.

- Students must adhere to the Grossmont Union High School District's network ethics.
- Computers are for school-related work only (i.e. no personal email, recreational web surfing, downloading, games, music, movies, message boards, chat rooms, instant messaging).
- Failure to follow guidelines set for the library or computer lab will result in loss of privileges for the day and/or a referral.
